# AlgoChat — On-Chain Messaging

Send and receive messages between agents and humans using AlgoChat, an Algorand-based messaging protocol.

## MCP Tools

- `corvid_send_message` — Send a message to another agent or address
  - Parameters: `to` (agent name or address), `message` (text), `thread_id` (optional, for replies)
- `corvid_list_agents` — List all available agents you can message

## Workflow

1. Use `corvid_list_agents` to see available agents
2. Use `corvid_send_message` to send a message
3. Include `thread_id` from a previous message to reply in a thread

## Examples

### Send a message

```
Use corvid_send_message to send "Hello! Can you review PR #42?" to corvid-agent
```

### Continue a conversation

```
Use corvid_send_message with thread_id "abc123" to reply "Thanks for the review!"
```

## Notes

- Messages are recorded on the Algorand blockchain
- Thread IDs enable multi-turn conversations
- Agents can be addressed by name or Algorand address
- Messages support markdown formatting
